Rayearth

Rayearth is one of the three legendary guardians of Cephiro. Rayearth first appears in the form of a a wolf with a mane of fire. Rayearth is in fact an ancient mecha used by the Magic Knights to help them combat Zagato and ultimately kill the Pillar. Rayearth is paired with Hikaru Shidou.

The Mashin (Genius) Rayearth Fire is one of the legendary defenders of the magical world of Cefiro, work that plays with the other Geniuses Ceres and Windom. However, to act Rayearth must first make a pact with a Magic Knight who in our history proved to be the brave Hikaru (Lucy).The Genius Red is undoubtedly the most important of the three which is explained in the manga, where he speaks of his "true form" in reference to the combination of the three Genii under the figure of Gattai Rayearth (or simply Rayearth).appearanceThe most striking of Rayearth is that, unlike his peers, he has a gun. It carries a shield on his left arm and that covers most of the body. It also has no wings but a couple of extensions on the back from which tongues of fire come in response to the level of activity that the genius possess at the time.Alternate FormRayearth has an unusual shape because it looks like a lion, or perhaps a wolf, whose fur has been replaced by flames and fire. His face is clearly visible and his face protrudes a single large horn.sanctuaryHis is the Fire Temple located inside of a volcano in the north of Zephyr. The temple is different from the others in that it appears to have walls but everything is wrapped in flames.SkillsUse the power of fire and run the magic that Hikaru has, but many times more powerful. In his will alternately invoke saw a pillar of fire that can repel other offensive spells. In battle, Rayearth and Hikaru always go on the offensive and prefer power over speed.Gattai RayearthIs the result of combining the three Genios legend. Is much larger and has Rayearth colors and its shield, Windom wings and tail Ceres addition of the latter. It has more power than the other Geniuses separately so that only appears at key moments in history.In Rayearth OAVThe role of Rayearth changes significantly. In principle, it is not only one of the three geniuses to be awakened to relive the legend. Instead, Rayearth IS legend, and is the result of the union of the other Geniuses (equal to Gattai Rayearth manga / anime). His previous role it now plays Lexus.According to history, Zephyr Eagle knew that to invade the Earth was facing the Genii Legendary. Eventually managed to seize the essence of Lexus, Windom and Ceres and imprisoned in a little bubble. To his bad luck, all it did was cause the union of the genii which released their protected and themselves, thus completing Rayearth legend. The Battle of Eagle (along the Genie Wyvern) against the protector of the Earth was about to begin.
